Bushnell Pro X3 rangefinder – new features announced ahead of release

The Bushnell Pro XE rangefinder is currently one of the best on the market, so what does Bushnell Golf have in store for its new flagship rangefinder - the Pro X3?

One of the features that make the Pro XE so popular is the Slope with Elements function, which takes into account elevation, temperature and barometric pressure to provide an accurate real-life yardage for golfers.

With the forthcoming new Pro X3 rangefinder, Bushnell have gone one better by storing a golfer's home elevation in the device. This means golfers will have the ability to store their home elevation to provide accurate adjusted distances where they play golf the most.

The new dual display will also provide the ability to switch between different display settings - bright red or crisp black - based on light conditions.

For those who play in competitions, there's a patent-pending Lock Slope-Switch option which makes sure the rangefinder won't switch into Slope mode during tournament play - as this function isn't legal in most compeitions.

There's also a fully waterproof metal housing and integrated magnetic mount so it can be easily attached to the side of your golf cart - which is strong enough to work in any weather conditions.

William Flood, Bushnell’s global product manager, said:

“The Pro X3 is replacing the industry’s best laser, the Pro XE, and it will now set a new standard in laser rangefinders.

“From its sleek, ergonomically sound design to dual display and the best-compensated distances available, the Pro X3 offers accuracy and performance other lasers simply do not deliver.”
