The Best Golf Practice Nets 2022
Last updated: June 2022
A golf practice net is a must for any golfer. It can help to improve your swing, develop a better understanding of the clubface and help you with your ball striking.
A golf practice net can be used by beginners to help them perfect their swing before hitting the course and can also be used by seasoned golfers to perfect their game in between rounds or on days when they don't have time to play.
A good golf net should be sturdy, durable, and easy to assemble. You want to make sure that it has a wide enough base so that it doesn't tip over easily when struck by a ball in your garden - particularly those that are designed for full swings.
There are two main types of golf nets:
- Driving nets: A driving net is a type of golf net that allows for full swings. These nets are quite big and need to set-up correctly to make sure there are no accidents.
- Chipping nets: A chipping net is typically smaller and is designed to help you practice your short game accuracy.
Choosing the best golf net for your garden size and skill level can be a daunting task. There are so many different types of nets to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start. We’ve identified the best golf practice nets below to help you choose the best one for you.

LINKS CHOICE PRACTICE NET
Well-regarded as the best golf practice net you can buy, the Links Choice Practice Net is an extremely durable and reliable garden net that allows you to hit any shot - from a full swing drive all the way down to lob wedge.
It also comes with an artificial turf mat so you won't damage your lawn and the target sheet that attaches to the back allows you to hone your ball striking and consistency.
The net is 10 feet wide and 7 feet tall, so you need a bit of space in your garden for it, but if that's not a problem then this is certainly your best option for hitting golf shots in the back garden.
PGA TOUR PRO DRIVING NET
It may not be the cheapest full swing golf practice net available, but the intuitive targets used on the PGA Tour Pro Driving Net make it worth the extra cost.
The position of the targets allows you to practice different types of shot trajectory - meaning you're not just mindlessly hitting golf balls into a net, you can practice the different shots required to put together a good round.
The net is made from a lightweight but durable fibreglass frame, so it's easy to put up and put away but secure enough to not topple over when in use.
SKLZ HOME DRIVING RANGE KIT
The very simply designed SKLZ Home Driving Range Kit may not be the sturdiest practice net on this list, but if you have limited space but still want to practice full swings then this is a great choice.
The net is very quick to assemble and folds away just as quickly, and it comes with a dual surface mat so you can simulate different lies and different shot types from the fairway and the rough.
It also has two built-in rubber tees to practice drivers and irons off the tee.
LONGRIDGE FULL SWING INDOOR/OUTDOOR GOLF PRACTICE NET
The Longridge Full Swing Practice Net is a great option if you want to practice your aim and different shot types.
The 18-hole target sheet gives you plenty of scope to take on different shots, and adds an element of variety to keep your garden practice sessions interesting.
The net is very easy to assemble, so you can quickly be on your way hitting golf balls, and is just as easy to fold up and store. You can also put it in the carry bag and take it anywhere with you to practice.
It also features a built-in ground sheet so you can be sure the golf balls you hit into it will stay in there and not roll all over your garden.
SAPLIZE GOLF PRACTICE NET WITH HITTING MAT
The Saplize Golf Practice Net is a high-quality hitting net that is great value for money considering its size, the targets it includes and the hitting mat.
It comes in at over 3 metres high and 2 metres wide, so may not be suitable for all gardens. It's also a little bit more complicated to put up and take down than some of the other nets on this list.
However, once it's up this is a great golf practice net that is sturdy enough to handle any shot you hit at it.
The mat is also a great addition to avoid making nasty divots on your lawn, and it includes a handy carry case so you can store and transport it easily.
