Bushnell unveils new feature-packed ION Elite Golf GPS watch
Bushnell Golf has launched a new version of their popular ION golf watch range – the ION Elite.
The ION Elite boasts a colour touchscreen display, slope-compensated distances and comes already loaded with over 38,000 golf courses around the world.
The built-in slope feature provides more precise distances accounting for the incline or decline – offering golfers more accurate yardages while they play. The screen features a highly visible blue surround so the wearer knows that the slope distances are calibrated and being shown.
To make the ION Elite legal for tournament play, the Slope Technology can be easily disabled which turns off the blue surround to clearly demonstrate it is not being used.
For those looking for a new golf GPS watch that can also be worn everyday, the Bushnell ION Elite features a modern and sleek design, so it won’t look out of place when wearing it off the course.
On the golf course, the watch offers front, centre and back-of-the-green distances on a large, easy-to-read screen and a GreenView function that enables moveable pin placement for accurate distances based on the golfer’s line of approach.
The HoleView function provides access to a visual layout of the current hole in play, allowing you to understand what lies ahead for blind shots or doglegs.

Other features of the watch include a 12-hour+ battery life, shot distance calculator, up to six hazard distances per hole, auto course-recognition and automatically advances as you progress from hole-to-hole.
The Bushnell Golf ION Elite Golf GPS watch comes in two colour options (Black and White) and is available to buy from 1 September with an RRP of £199 /€239.
